MBRGI supports UNICEF efforts to vaccinate one million children against measles

MBRGI announced its support for a UNICEF-led measles vaccination programme targeting one million children in marginalised communities and areas affected by conflict.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) announced its support for the measles vaccination programme led by UNICEF, aimed at children in marginalised communities and areas of conflict.

The contribution was announced during MBRGI's participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, held from 19 to 23 January 2026.

His Excellency Saeed Al Eter, CEO of MBRGI, signed a Letter of Intent for partnership with UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell. Under the agreement, MBRGI will support UNICEF's efforts to vaccinate one million children against measles.

The renewed partnership reflects MBRGI's commitment to strengthening international cooperation and supporting humanitarian programmes in vulnerable communities, particularly those struggling to provide essential healthcare.

The programme aims to provide routine immunisation services to children who have not yet received vaccinations, helping protect their health and support their development.
