Healthcare & Disease Control
The Healthcare and Disease Control pillar focuses on combating major diseases and epidemics, preventing and treating infectious diseases, and providing essential healthcare services to disadvantaged communities.
Its programmes include primary and preventative healthcare, surgery, vaccination, medical screening, awareness campaigns and treatment programmes. The pillar also supports medical research, scholarships, professional training and stronger healthcare systems.
