His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced that the Edge of Life campaign to rescue five million children from hunger exceeded its target, raising over AED 2.822 billion from 44,208 contributors.
Launched on 13 February 2026, the campaign aimed to raise at least AED 1 billion to help fight childhood hunger around the world.
The campaign brought together individuals, businesses and leading humanitarian and philanthropic organisations.
The initiative was organised in partnership with UNICEF, Save the Children, the Children's Investment Fund Foundation and Action Against Hunger.
