His Excellency Badr Jafar, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Business and Philanthropy and CEO of Crescent Enterprises, announced a personal contribution of AED 10 million in support of the Edge of Life campaign.
He also partnered with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) on an international outreach effort that secured signed pledges from prominent philanthropic foundations.
The campaign was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with the aim of raising a minimum of AED 1 billion to fight childhood hunger worldwide.
The contribution was announced at a Suhoor event organised by MBRGI, bringing together leaders from philanthropy and business to strengthen support for the campaign.
